Absorbent Layers

Hemp, bamboo, and cotton are excellent natural fiber materials for absorbent inserts for cloth diapers. Cotton, known for its fast absorbency, quickly draws moisture in, while slow-absorbing materials like hemp hold a large amount of liquid. Combined in the absorbent part, these materials complement each other.

Waterproof Fabric

Polyurethane laminated polyester fabric, or PUL, is a waterproof, moisture-retaining fabric that is nevertheless breathable due to small micro-holes. Our laboratory-tested PUL-breathable is an excellent diaper material where breathability and waterproofness are the key.

Softis works similarly to PUL, but its polyester layer is thinner than regular PUL. While PUL is suitable as an outer material for cloth diapers, nursing pads, bibs, and mattress protectors, Softis is suitable for inside a product where it is not visible, such as cloth pads and menstrual underwear.

Dryliner

Dryliner fabric, designed for skin contact, effectively wicks moisture away from the skin to the absorbent layers underneath. Dryliner acts as an intermediary between the skin and another material and feels dry against the skin. Coolmax, unlike dryliner, is 100% polyester and very breathable due to its porous structure. It is used in sportswear and jerseys as well as cloth diapers.
