A thin merino wool jersey is a breathable and stretchy rib knit. The wool jersey is perfect for underwear, baby clothes, and middle layers such as undershirts, baby bodysuits, or linings for beanies and mittens. Its good flexibility also makes it an excellent choice for cuffs and necklines of patterned merino wool fabrics.

This wool rib is the same knit type as the finished merino tube ribbing, and the colors of our other merino wools in our selection are compatible with this fabric. The functional properties of the merino wool jersey make it a reliable choice for everyday life as well as for sports and hiking. Merino wool knits breathe, warm, and wick away moisture, keeping you feeling dry and comfortable. The natural fiber merino wool repels odors, so clothes stay fresh longer without frequent washing.

Hand wash gently in lukewarm water or machine wash on a delicate wool cycle at a maximum of 30°C.

Use only detergents specifically formulated for wool. Do not tumble dry to avoid shrinkage. Gently shape the garment while damp and lay flat to air dry, away from direct heat or sunlight. Merino wool is naturally antibacterial and self-cleaning.

We recommend airing your garment frequently to refresh it between washes. Wash only when visibly soiled. For added care, consider using a wool conditioner (lanolin) to maintain softness and moisture absorption. When storing your garment for extended periods, protect it from moths by using a sealed plastic bag.
