What are the properties of TENCEL™ Lyocell jersey?
These garments offer excellent dimensional stability and do not wrinkle easily. The fabric has a beautiful, subtle sheen, and the colors are deep and remain vibrant even after many washes. TENCEL™ fibre shares many of the great properties of merino wool, yet its smooth-surfaced jersey feels even softer against the skin than cotton or wool.
Washing Instructions for TENCEL™ Lyocell Clothing:
- Turn garments inside out and use a mild, eco-friendly detergent.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softeners.
- The recommended washing temperature is 40°C.
- Do not tumble dry; reshape the garment while damp.
Our Finnish period underwear is made from TENCEL™ jersey and can be washed at 60°C if desired. Read more in our Period Underwear Care Guide.
