Guaranteed Reliability

One of the cornerstones of Myllymuksut operations is that our clients can always trust in the quality of our products. The carefully chosen materials fill both our high standards as well as the requirements and standards of independent operators. We choose sustainability and responsibility for the environment, society, and people – kids and adults alike – for a better tomorrow.

We aim to make all Myllymuksut products durable with long life, and therefore we always choose the materials with the best features and quality. Being aware of the challenges that the long supply chains may cause in the textile industry, we will make our best to choose the most responsible and sustainable option with internationally recognized certificates. However, as a small company, it's impossisble for us to trace the origin of each and every material. As a basic rule, we will not choose the price over quality.

Certificates and Symbols in Myllymuksut Operations

Öko-Tex 100

International standards are an important tool for us in the field of responsibility, and we require the Öko-Tex 100 standard certificate from all our sellers.

The Öko-Tex 100 standard is an international system of testing and certifying textiles, which restricts the use of harmful and hazardous chemicals used in textile manufacturing. A material or product can be granted with the certificate for one year at a time and it requires independent testing in the Öko-Tex testing facilities.

Allergy, Skin, and Asthma Certificate

Myllymuksut cloth diapers, nursing pads, menstrual pads, and menstrual underwear have been awarded the Allergy, Skin, and Asthma Association’s certificate. The certificate is given to products, that fill the strict criteria of independent research and contain no fragrances/perfumes or other common irritants. The Allergy certificate has never before been awarded to any other Finnish textile products of the same category.

The Key Flag

Myllymuksut has been awarded the right to use the Key Flag- mark on its products. The Key Flag Symbol is a registered collective mark by the Association for Finnish Work. It demonstrates that the product has been made in Finland or the materials come from Finland, both creating Finnish jobs. The Key Flag is not only a guarantee of Finnish products but the values of the producer.
