Softis, light and breathable PUL fabric

Softis is an exceptionally thin polyester knit with a thin, non-rustling polyurethane film laminated on the reverse side. Thanks to its lightness, PUL Softis is an ideally soft waterproof fabric for short-interval diapers and reusable pads.

Softis waterproof fabric is suitable for:

• A moisture barrier in period underwear and reusable pads
• A layer between the lining and outer fabric of outdoor clothing to block wind and moisture
• Wind protection for the ears in beanies and hats
• Waterproof mattress protectors

Softis fabric can be cut into various shapes for purposes like mattress protection, and the edges do not require finishing. For sewing this thin waterproof fabric, we recommend a thin Microtex needle, as its sharp point pierces the laminated fabric without creating large holes.

Tip: You can "seal" needle holes by blowing hot air on them with a hairdryer.
