Can Underwear Be Washed at 60 Degrees Celsius?

Yes, all the underwear in our selection can be washed at 60 degrees Celsius. Low washing temperatures are not sufficient to kill bacteria, especially during any infection in the intimate area. For intimate hygiene, it is important to choose breathable natural materials for daily use that can withstand hot machine washing. A lower washing temperature, like 40 degrees Celsius, is an environmentally friendly choice and sufficient to remove normal dirt. When washing, turn the underwear inside out and use a laundry bag; this reduces unnecessary wear and tear on the fabric.

How Often Should Underwear Be Changed?

It's advisable to change underwear every day, and sometimes even twice a day if the day has been particularly sweaty or active. Clean briefs are part of good intimate hygiene and comfort. It is recommended to replace underwear with new ones approximately every 6-12 months, depending on use and washing frequency. High-quality and well-cared-for underwear can last for years. If you suffer from recurrent yeast infections, we recommend switching from disposable panty liners to breathable and washable ones and using only natural materials in underwear.

Natural fibers allow air and moisture to circulate freely, keeping the skin dry and fresh all day long. Bedwetting and daytime wetting occur in children beyond diaper age when voluntary retention and bladder control are not sufficiently developed.
